Die Extended-Serie vervollständigt zwar die 2025-26 Upper Deck Serie, ist aber insgesamt ideen- und einfallslos.
Meine Ausführungen bewerten nur das Produkt und nicht die hervorragende Arbeit von TAASS.
Die Extended Serie reiht sich in das schlechte Nieveau der Serien 1 und 2 aus 2025/26 ein. Mit der Umstellung auf das Konzept 12 Cards in 12 Packs vor ein paar Jahren werden die Boxen / Packs mit Billig-Inserts geflutet. Zudem gibt es dazu noch diverse Parallelserien und auch Parallels zu den Setkarten.
Somit ist das Produkt für Setbilder nicht geeignet, selbst wenn man nur die base cards #1-200 und #251-450 sammeln möchte. Ob die Verteilung der Karten in den Extended-Boxen so schlecht ist, wie in Serie 1 und 2 konnte ich noch nicht prüfen.
Sollte mich aber wundern. Ich habe jedoch keine Rookies Cards doppelt gezogen. Ansonsten ist das Produkt mit Karten aufgeblasen, die man vielleicht nicht braucht. Es war ja schon alles in Serie 1 und 2 enthalten. Positive Ausnahme sind die Karten von Olympia 2026.
Ansonsten ruft Upper Deck einen stolzen Preis auf, wohl bloß weil nach Jahren mal wieder Jersey-Karten enthalten sind. Die Box ist genauso groß wie bei den Serien 1 und 2, kostet aber 69,00 € mehr (von ca. 140 € auf 209). Man könnte ja was finden. Es scheint ein rein spekulatives Produkt zu sein und Upper Deck nutzt damit sein Monopolstellung aus. Da sollte Gary Bettman mal ein Auge drauf haben.
