Product information

Mitchell & Ness NHL Men's Blue Line Ice Hockey Jersey from Philadelphia Flyers Legend Dave "The Hammer" Schultz. 1974-75 Vintage Hockey Collection.

FEATURES:

The Mitchell & Ness Blue Line NHL Jerseys are a must-have for every hockey fan and a reminder of the best players and legends of the sport! All logos, numbers and letters are sewn on as high-quality twill patches and replicate the classic Philadelphia Flyers team design. The Blue Line NHL jerseys are made of 100% polyester with mesh inserts and offer a little more room at the waist and sleeves with a classic hockey fit. This means that you can wear these jerseys over any sweater or pullover.

The Mitchell & Ness Vintage Hockey label (NHL Blue Line) is sewn on the front hem, as is the player's name including the year. The player number and the player's name are also sewn on the back. The classic design is rounded off with the sewn-on numbers on the sleeves.

Dave "The Hammer" Schultz earned his nickname for his physicality and for being an enforcer on Philadelphia's "Broad Street Bullies" teams. Schultz is the record holder for the most penalty minutes in a single season, and delivered some "muscle" to the Flyers. His influence led to the "Schultz Rule" which banned the use of boxing wraps that he had made popular throughout his fights. However, Schultz was valued for much more than his aggressive play. In his 1973-74 season, "The Hammer" scored 20 goals and scored the series-winning goal in OT in the first round of the 1974 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Schultz and the Broad Street Bullies won two back-to-back Stanley Cup championships. Represent the Broad Street Bullies with the Dave Schultz 1974 Blue Line Jersey.

FABRIC: 100% polyester.
