FEATURES:

The Mitchell & Ness Blue Line NHL Jerseys are a must-have for every hockey fan and a reminder of the best players and legends of the sport! All logos, numbers and letters are sewn on as high-quality twill patches and replicate the classic Montreal Canadiens team design. The Blue Line NHL jerseys are made of 100% polyester with mesh inserts and offer a little more room at the waist and sleeves with a classic hockey fit. This means that you can wear these jerseys over any sweater or pullover.

The Mitchell & Ness Vintage Hockey label (NHL Blue Line) is sewn on the front hem, as is the player's name including the year. The player number and the player's name are also sewn on the back. The classic design is rounded off with the sewn-on numbers on the sleeves and the All-Star Game patch on the front.

Regarded by many as one of the greatest goalies of all time, Patrick Roy is widely credited with revolutionizing the "butterfly" style of goaltending. In the 1993 NHL playoffs against the Quebec Nordiques, Roy went head-to-head with Ron Hextall in a "Battle of Goalies." Both players were known for their fierce, fiery personalities, and after falling to the Nordiques in the first two games, headlines began to surface that Roy had been bested. Roy responded with a legendary series of performances, winning the next four games against Quebec, and dominating throughout the rest of their postseason matchups. Roy set a record for most consecutive playoff overtime wins (10) and tied the 11-game playoff winning streak record. Roy led Montreal to the Stanley Cup title and was named the Conn Smythe Trophy winner. He is the only player in NHL history to win the award 3 times, and the only one to do so in 3 different decades (1980s, 1990s, and 2000s.)
